  It is now time for Imagery International to assist in the Awakening of our society through the use of imagery. Humans are waking up to a time of transformation. No more sleepwalking and ignoring wrongs; it is time to create and transform to a new world filled with Divine Feminine qualities of love, caring, kindness, nurturing, peace, joy, and more. What are your thoughts on this topic. Send in your articles and help us publish a thought-provoking and exciting ImagiNews together. New series on Imagery will begin in our next issue.   Nominate a Writer!

  Do you know someone who could write beautifully about imagery and our current theme? Members are invited to nominate and personally invite a writer to contribute to the upcoming edition of ImagiNews.

  To nominate someone, please email our editor, Dr. Maureen at editor@imageryinternational.org, and include:

  • The person’s name and contact information 
  • A short note letting her know you are nominating them to contribute to this edition 
  • Please also reach out to the person directly to let them know you’ve nominated them and to invite them to write for ImagiNews. 

  If your invited writer decides to contribute, they can send their completed article, poem, or other piece directly to editor@imageryinternational.org when it’s ready.

  A quick reminder: Everything for ImagiNews should come together in one email from the author. That means:

  • The article, poem, or other piece of writing 
  • A short bio (if you’d like one included) 
  • Any photos or images

  All of these should be attached to the same email sent to the editor. Please note that nominations are specific to the current edition —so if someone comes to mind, invite them now!

  There will be no Book Group meeting on October 14, 2025.

  
  

  Our Book Group will meet again on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 — and we’d love for you to join us!

  At this meeting, we’ll open the floor for suggestions for our 2026 reading list. It’s a wonderful chance to share the books that have inspired, moved, or intrigued you this past year — and to help shape our upcoming conversations.

  Bring your favorite titles, authors, and ideas (and of course, yourself!). Whether it’s a classic, a contemporary gem, or something you’ve just discovered, we welcome your voice and imagination.

  As the sun pauses on its southernmost path and the longest night enfolds the earth, we are invited into a time of stillness, mystery, and quiet renewal. The Winter Solstice marks the turning point of the year—the ancient threshold where darkness and light meet, and something new stirs beneath the surface.

  In this gathering, we will journey through myth and imagery to explore the wisdom held in the season of darkness—the descent into the fertile unknown, the spark of light that is born within, and the promise of return that follows each ending. Guided reflections and imaginal exploration will invite you to listen deeply to your own inner rhythm and to the mythic stories that shape the turning of your year.

  Join us in honoring this sacred moment of pause, as we welcome the returning light and open ourselves to the renewal that follows the dark.
