Member eBlasts
a membership benefit


We love supporting our members by helping them reach as many people as we can when they are holding an imagery-related event. All we ask is that members pay attention to our eBlast submission guidelines. It helps us to help you when you make things easier for us!



Imagery International eBlasts for members

  • Two eBlasts per year are included with membership.
  • Additional eBlasts are $25 each.
  • Non-members can send eBlasts to our mailing list for $70 per eBlast.

Eligibility & Relevance

  • Content must relate to the use of imagery and be of interest to our members.
  • If deemed relevant by the administrator, Board approval is not required. If the administrator needs to consult with the board, she will do so at the monthly meeting, which takes place on the Second Sunday of the month.
  • Please provide sufficient information for the administrator to make a quick decision.

    Timing Requirements for Your eBlast Submission

    To ensure your eBlast can be scheduled and sent effectively, please follow these timing guidelines:
    • You must submit your request at least 1 month before your event.
      • Your request must be received by the II office at least 2 weeks before the date you want the eBlast to be sent.
      • The date you want the eBlast to be sent should be at least 2 weeks before your event date
    • If your request is not submitted on time, we will not send out the eBlast.
    • If we have a lot of other mailings scheduled, we will not send out the eBlast.

     

    Example: If your event is on May 30, submit your eBlast request no later than May 1, so it can be scheduled for delivery by May 15 or after.




    Please note:

    • The actual send date of your eBlast will depend on what other mailings Imagery International already has scheduled. The more time you give us, the better we will be able to fit your request in.
    • We do our best not to overwhelm members with emails, so if there’s a full mailing calendar, your eBlast may be delayed or simply not possible.

    Leave enough time for:

    • The board to review or consult if needed.
    • The eBlast to be scheduled at an appropriate and effective time within our upcoming communications.


    Submission Guidelines

    • Submit content in a format that can be copied and pasted (e.g., plain text or Word document).

    • If submitting a PDF or image, also include the text in a copiable format.

    • Include any images as separate files in PNG or JPG/JPEG format.

    • Be sure to include important details like datesfees, and relevant links.

    • Keep the text short and to the point. The ideal email copy length is between 50 to 125 words. A summary with links to a place where readers can find more information is the best practice.

    • Send the exact text you want included. Do not expect our office staff to edit or correct your text.

    • Make sure it is clear from your description that this event is relevant to members of Imagery International and that it is clear how Imagery will be used in the event

    IMPORTANT

    If you do not adhere to the submission guidelines, your eBlast will be subject to rejection or delays.
