Somatic Department Psychology: We are here to look at the importance of connecting with our dream world, and then, the value of building a relationship with some of the images and figures that arise as experienced through physical expression and somatic awareness.
Have you ever explored the dream imagery that comes to you each night and remains in your consciousness throughout the day?
From walking through a pastoral scenes to swimming in the tumultuous ocean, from the face on a crowded bus to a cat that is encountered on a lonely dream-street, let’s talk about the images that can inform our daily lives. How does an image inform our body and then increase personal awareness as the images are transformed into knowledge?
Join us for the second in a two-part series as we explore dream processes, the power of imagery and the powerful coupling of somatic expression with the images that arise through the dream experience.

Darcie A. Richardson, Ph.D. first discovered DreamTending when she was recovering from a Traumatic Brain Injury in 2005. She learned about the power of imagery and later explored the impact imagery could have when connected to traumatic experiences and recovery processes. Darcie has worked extensively with her personal dream images through writing, art, and somatic expression.
