Dream Imagery and Somatic Awareness
with II President Darcie Richardson, Ph.D.

Several months ago we hosted a dynamic webinar called, Dream Imagery and Artistic Awareness. Imagery International is inviting you to continue the exploration of dream imagery, this time through the wisdom of the body and somatic awareness.

We will look for answers to the following questions:

  • How is dream imagery enhanced through somatic awareness?
  • How are images and the body connected?
  • What is important about the symbiotic relationship of the dream experience and somatic sensation?

Let’s talk about how we can learn from the images that arise from dream. Then, let’s explore how somatic expression increases our personal awareness while transforming the images into heightened personal understanding.

Join us as we explore dream processes, the power of imagery and the powerful coupling of somatic awareness with the images that arise through dream activity.

Darcie A. Richardson, Ph.D. first discovered the practice of DreamTending when she was recovering from a Traumatic Brain Injury in 2005. She learned about the power of imagery and later explored the impact imagery could have when connected to traumatic experiences and recovery processes. Darcie works extensively with dream images through writing, art, and somatic expression.
