Higher-Self Imagery Methods


Learning Objectives:

UPON COMPLETION OF THIS WORKSHOP, PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ABLE TO:

  1. Define the “Higher Self” as part of the brain/mind.
  2. Describe 2 clinical case examples that illustrate the “Higher Self” as a source of guidance for problem-solving.
  3. Experience two “Higher Self” methods for reducing existential despair and confusion about life direction.


Abstract:

Higher Self is a way of naming the higher unconscious material sitting dormant in the higher brain.  Safe, time-tested and effective methods exist to wake up and discover this material for the sake of illuminating purpose and guidance.  This workshop will be clinically relevant  and experiential.

 Dr. Richard Schaub is a counseling psychologist with 45 years of clinical experience who has trained health professionals internationally in the clinical applications of imagery and meditation.
