ImagiNews: Call for Submissions
Theme: Relationships
Submission Deadline: November 20, 2026
We live in a web of relationships—some familiar and comforting, others challenging, mysterious, or unexpected. We are in relationship with one another, with the natural world, with our memories and dreams, and with the many images and presences that inhabit our inner landscapes.
Relationships can awaken us, unsettle us, open our hearts, and transform our understanding of who we are.
Through imagery, we may discover new ways of listening, connecting, and being present. An animal, a dream figure, a remembered place, or an unexpected encounter in an inner journey may invite us into a relationship we had never imagined. What happens when we allow these encounters to unfold, rather than rushing to interpret or explain them?
For our upcoming issue of ImagiNews, we invite you to explore Relationships in all their richness and complexity.
What has imagery revealed to you about connection, separation, love, conflict, or belonging? Have your experiences with imagery changed how you relate to yourself, to others, or to the world around you? What unexpected relationships have emerged through your imaginal explorations?
We welcome your stories, reflections, articles, poetry, and artwork. Whether your contribution is deeply personal, drawn from professional practice, or inspired by a moment of wonder, we invite you to share it.
We invite submissions such as:
- Articles and essays
- Personal reflections or stories
- Clinical applications and case studies
- Research highlights
- Poetry and creative writing
- Artwork and photography
- Guided imagery exercises and practices
- Reviews of books, programs, or resources related to the theme
Please submit your contributions by November 20, 2026.
We look forward to discovering the many ways relationships come alive through imagery.
