Practice Description
In my work as a poet, I present poetry workshops and presentations in my home state, the Pacific North West, and in other areas in the United States. I’ve also provided various artist-in-residencies as a poetry consultant in school settings and have performed poetry in a variety of venues – theater, performing arts and cultural centers, spiritual centers and charity events, schools, cafes, arts festivals, and arts & sciences organizations. In September 2020, I gave a virtual poetry presentation with participants joining the workshop from across the United States, Canada, and Ireland.
My vision for my work in poetry is to creatively bring this powerful fine art to many, promoting feminine empowerment and growth-making the imagery in poetry emotionally palpable, and a healing and transformative experience to individuals while engaging a broad and diverse audience of readers and listeners.
