Glenda Cedarleaf is a Guided Imagery practitioner and Clinical Hypnotherapist -  who follows her calling to be a muse and midwife  for deepening the healing process through creative exploration.

She  has facilitated women’s retreats since 1995.  She has a psychotherapy and guided imagery practice in Minnetonka Minnesota.

Tepoztlan is in the mountains and is known for being the birthplace of the mighty Aztec god Quetzalcoatl. It is home to artists and lovers of Native Mexican culture. This town is filled with beautiful loving and authentic people who have maintained the best of their native culture.  You will love the weekend market filled with the colorful and flavorful foods and crafts of the people of this lovely village.

Glenda writes and records guided imagery journeys.  Her audios “Your Healing Journey” and “Healing Surgery” are now being provided to patients in the Cardiac Catheter Lab, Emergency Room, Joint Center and Surgical Department.

Program Objectives: Upon completion of this program, the participant will be able to:
- Discuss the implications for healing based on the state of consciousness of the one who is ill.
- Discuss how the intention and consciousness of the “healer” influences the healing journey of the client.
- Verbalize one or two concepts from “Consciousness & Healing” that could be applied to assist one’s self or others in      their healing journey

A few words about imagery and creativity that I didn’t get to share yesterday……
Children are visionaries, and we as adults can disconnect from that part of our soul as we grow older… We still continue to use our imagination but —unfortunately our imagination often moves to worry imagery—

So we are using imagery but not to our healing and growth and creativity-rather we worry and imagine the problems and often the worst case scenario.  It’s interesting, that rarely do the answers come from worrying.

They often come, when we let go, we surrender, and are given guidance, an answer we could have never figured out solely with the rational mind.

Suzanne Falter-Barns says—
“The creative process is not computer software that provides all the answers at the click of the mouse. Rather it is a sensitive beast who comes to sit by your side and befriend you only after you’ve stroked and fed it every day for a good while. This beast demands your care and nurturing, it wants to build up your trust, and it craves your love, because in truth, that is only you. If we feel stuck without a dream the question we must ask ourselves is what are we not letting ourselves explore and why won’t we let ourselves explore it?”
