II Past President, Susan Ezra, R.N. being interviewed by Sangeeta Agarawal from Helpsy on youtube:

This is a short video taken at the 2015 II Conference of Marjorie Khosrovi demonstrating for us a children’s rhyme she learned from her grandmother. It is so interesting because our morning session with Jann Fredrickson was on tapping and she was showing us the main points for tapping. This children’s rhyme mimics the primary tapping points! What a wonderful way to not only memorize the points but to do with children to comfort them. Thank you, Marjorie.

The Think Tank from Think Tank on Vimeo

Rebecca Klinger submitted this video which beautifully illustrates the parts of us that are in conflict.  Guided Imagery can help resolve the conflict by encouraging each PART to express it’s wants and needs, then finding a solution that brings them into alignment with a greater good.

Bicho Papão (the name of my performance) is a Brazilian folk character. It literally means “animal that eats a lot.”  It is used to frighten children, as in, “If you don’t listen to me, Bicho Papão will eat you up.”  The song at the beginning is a famous Brazilian lullaby in which the little girl is asked not to grow up lest she finds out that Life itself is her Bicho Papão.

The one-hour-show is a string of my personal life stories and Brazilian and Japanese folk stories sending the message that we can overcome the “bicho papao’s ” of our lives, or at least learn to live with them in peace by making healthy choices. 🙂
