Mental Movies

Sunday, October 27th, 2013

“You Must Remember This” was a show  from the CBC (Canadian Broadcast Radio) program Think About It.

For many of us our memories are a diary of our lives. They are mental movies of where we’ve been, what we did, and who we are. However memories aren’t as neat and tidy as photos in an album or videos on a flash drive. Our memories change every time we remember them and what we recall always has an account of times past imprinted in it. Out of necessity, our brain remembers as a way to predict the future, but it is never a static process.

Glenda Cedarleaf’s New Website

Friday, October 11th, 2013

Glenda Cedarleaf specializes in creating Videos with lush images, a soothing voice and easy listening background music.  On this new website she answers the question ‘How does Guided Imagery Reduce Stress and Promote Healing?’

Glenda writes in her latest newsletter “Although it has been a while since writing to you, I have been hard at work and I am delighted to share this big news with you !

Last spring, I decided it was time to bring all of my guided meditation audios and videos together in a way that makes it really easy to incorporate guided imagery into our lives. Over the years, I have written and recorded over 40 guided meditation audios and videos. So I started researching how to do this most effectively. I collaborated with my awesome business manager Andrea Cinnamond of and the “Haven of Relaxation” was conceived.

In a nutshell, this site is mobile-friendly, affordable and easily accessible. For your convenience, it contains all of my audios and videos in one place.

It offers the experience of guided meditation in “bite size pieces”so that the listener has more context for each journey , and will be more informed about which journey might best meet their needs.”
