I have been a practicing Psychotherapist and licensed in the great frozen state of Minnesota as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker for over 30 years. My expertise is working with all kinds of trauma, and I also do marriage and family therapy. I became interested in the fascinating field of Imagery during a major illness in the 1980’s and then went on to be certified in Interactive Imagery with the Academy for Guided Imagery and am also certified as one of their mentors. I started mentoring for Beyond Ordinary Nursing in addition to the Academy for Guided Imagery in the early 2000’s. I now use a combination of Energy and Imagery therapies for a more complete resolution to trauma both acute and long-standing.

I have been on the board of Imagery International off and on since 2000 serving as President from 2003-2005 and as Conference Chair since the conference’s inception in 2009.

I love to walk miles and miles everyday, read loads of books, and spend time with my animals, friends, and family, not necessarily in that order. My favorite saying comes from Henry David Thoreau: “If a man (woman) does not keep pace with his companions perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away.”
