Rosemarie Eisbenberg session in a book

photo2A new book called CounterClockwise, My Year of Hypnosis, Hormones, Dark Chocolate, and Other Adventures  in the World of Anti Aging by Lauren Kessler has a whole chapter devoted to her imagery session with Rosemarie Eisenberg. The Oregon Quarterly, the magazine of the University of Oregon, excerpted part of that chapter in their summer 2013 edition. It provides a really nice window into the kind of work we do with clients and she is honored to be a part of the book. Lauren is already a New York Times best selling author and AARP has recommended this book in their June/July 2013 edition. For anyone interested, click HERE to go to the link to the Oregon Quarterly Review and scroll to pages 11 and 12 in the UPFRONT section.  The article is titled Beat the Clock.

Hi dear ones,

Bev Hollander

Bev Hollander

Here in Oregon we are enjoying an unseasonably warm spring and I am hoping for some more rain. This issue has been Magical in its evolution. Seeing as submissions were at an all-time low, I thought, “We can skip it.” However, my boss, President Sue, well – she would have none of that. So, Magically, the issue has come together. You’ll find a case history and then lots about the conference and some darn good poems thrown in for good measure.

And, the cover, OH MY! I do love horses.

The theme for our September issue will be “Dreams.” Submissions are due August 1st to

Board Meeting – Power of Intention

Monday, June 10th, 2013

Dear Imagery Community,

Sue Ezra President

Sue Ezra

Your 2013 board had an extended meeting on June 9. Susan Ezra, our new president, led the intention to set goals with this beautiful imagery exercise:

Imagine taking your right hand and reaching in to the center of our circle so all our hands overlap. Feel our connection by hands, hearts and minds, blending our individual energy into a collective. This image forms a wheel or a mandala. There may be color, sound or movement as well. Right above our hands sit the teal colored ii representing Imagery International and our healing imagery community.

Let’s clearly set our intention today for us to tap into our creativity, intelligence and intuition so that we may easily reach wise decisions for the benefit of our II community and growth of our organization.

Susan also asked us to imagine the board being surrounded and supported by the membership, and waves rippling to the horizon and back—touching others and drawing them to us. We would love for each of you to take a few moments and imagine your connection to the Imagery International circle.

This was an inspired meeting. We also said goodbye to our outgoing Treasurer, Janet Barr and welcomed incoming Treasurer, Denise Hughes, who joined us for the meeting but will officially begin her duties sometime this summer.

We invite you to visit our Board of Directors page to see all of your Imagery International representatives.
