IMAGERY TO ASSIST YOU IN HEALING

IMAGERY TO ASSIST YOU IN HEALING

Imagine healing moving from the inside out. This is a practice that you can do that will compliment any healing that is “being done” by medical practitioners. This is healing that you can do daily or many times in one day. You can move into the imagery of healing when you are resting, when you are falling asleep, or when you are lying in bed trying to fall asleep. You can make a special time for this inner work, or just tap into it when you want to. You can be free with it… it is yours: in you and for you. It connects you with the great healing energy of Love.

Begin by quieting your mind. Feel Earth and your body. See yourself in your body on the Earth, and make the connection to Earth in a way that acknowledges the life giving source of nourishment for your body, which comes from the Earth. Become aware of your breathing. Acknowledge air, connecting you with heaven, nourishing your body’s cells with oxygen.

Imagine now the colors of the rainbow… red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. Allow yourself to find the hue of each color that feels “just right”… this is intuitive. Trust your intuition. Settle your loving attention in the region of your heart… a little below and behind your physical heart.

Ask for a guide to come to you that can assist you with healing. Greet whoever comes. Thank them for coming. Ask them if they have a message for you. …something they would like to show you or tell you. Open your senses. Become receptive. Your inner language may come in images, in words, in feelings, or in “gut sense”. .Ask if they have a message for you about whatever problem has led you to seek healing. Then ask “what needs to happen?” Allow the images or feelings to come to you so that what needs to happen can take place here in your inner world. There are no limits. Allow yourself total freedom in sacred imagination. Let the imagery guide you. Ask your guide if there is anything they need from you. Before you leave your imagery, ask if there is an image or words that you can use to facilitate healing for you….something clear and succinct that you can “apply” as you would medicine or salve, multiple times per day. Remember to thank your guide, and make sure your time with them has held what it needs to hold by asking “Is there anything more that needs to happen?” Allow this. Then say good bye in a way that feels right and natural. Transition gently back into the physical world. Write your journey down! You may think you will remember everything but trust me,,, write it down while it is fresh, even if it seems like not much happened. You’ll find as you write EVERYTHING you remember that something truly did happen, and you can work with it for healing.

Below I will post the journey in step by step form. Love and Blessings, Jenny Garrison

Hello on this January morning!  I just want to let you know that I have posted a new journey offering on my website. It is about healing, and how imagery can assist you in healing.  Please use it if this resonates with you, or share it with others who may need it.  I have included a journey outline that can be used to invite your own messages and guides for help with healing.
